How good is YOUR doctors’ surgery? Find out how patients rate GP clinics near your home

Bedworth centre is one of best in England, but how did your GP rate?

A GP practice in Bedworth is one of the best in the country – at least as far as patients are concerned.

The Old Cole House Practice – in Park Road, Bedworth – received stunning marks in the annual GP Patient Survey.

The survey, run by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the NHS, is based on the opinions of nearly one million users of practices across England on everything from trust in their doctor to waiting times in the surgery.

An incredible 100% of patients said they would recommend The Old Cole House to someone moving to the area.

A further 97.5% said they had a good experience of making appointments, 96.7% said they ‘definitely’ had confidence and trust in the doctor, 96.2% said they were happy with opening hours, and 98.5% said they had a good amount of time with their GP.

Only 84.2% said they didn’t have to wait too long in the surgery – but that still put The Old Cole House in the top 300 of surgeries nationwide.

Taking all those marks into account, The Old Cole House came sixth of 7,929 practices in England.

A total of 881,183 patients from nearly 8,000 surgeries across England had their say in the GP Patient Survey last year.

The data was gathered in two waves – between January and March 2014, and between July and September 2014.

While the survey itself asks dozens of questions, we have focused on responses to six key issues.

They are: experience of making an appointment, waiting times at the surgery, confidence and trust in the GP, satisfaction with opening hours, the amount of time the patient gets with a doctor, and whether the patient would recommend the surgery to others.

We ranked all surgeries in each category, based on the proportion of positive responses.
