To support GP practices and patients we have slightly changed our processes in ORDERING YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS
- Patients will be advised to keep 7 days of medication at home in case they need to self-isolate. Therefore they can order 10 days prior to them running out.
- All prescriptions should be ordered via the POD 024 76 246025 – Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
- Prescriptions will be sent via EPS (electronic prescription service). If a patient hasn’t a nomination then they MUST NOMINATE a pharmacy for the patient to collect or have home delivery from that nominated pharmacy. THERE WILL BE NO COLLECTION OF PRESCRIPTIONS FROM THE SURGERY
- To prevent stockpiling and potential stock shortages we will not issue more than one prescription at a time unless the patient has a genuine reason – most holidays will have been canceled. Patients traveling within England can nominate a local pharmacy when they next need to order a prescription
